Lots of ideas on where to stay and eat. I bought this book for £9.99p about $15. Also, Jensen provides historic information on the places he visits. Its the best book I have ever purchased about travel round the USA. Its easy to navigate, has loads of information and gives the reader a real feel for the two lane highways of America.The book covers such routes as the Oregon Trail, Pacific coast highway, coast to coast, Border to border, Route 66 etc etc, about 16 in all.There are plenty of photos inside with loads of detailed maps. So far he states he has covered 400,000 miles, which is incredible. I think Ive done about 35, 000 which is not bad for someone based in England.Make sure you buy the updated version.Buy this book, you wont regret it.
